Trip Itinerary
Embark on a 40-minute shuttle to the river put in at Big Creek. Enjoy the scenic drive as your guide provides an introduction to the area and safety briefing. Start your adventure on a serene and remote stretch of the North Fork, soaking in the quiet beauty of the landscape. As you float, take in the breathtaking views of the park’s rugged peaks and vibrant fall colors. September’s foliage adds a brilliant touch to the landscape, making this experience even more special. Around noon, your guide will find a peaceful, scenic spot along the riverbank for a buffet-style lunch. We’re known for our amazing riverside lunches. Our kitchen sources locally and organically whenever possible, and you’ll taste the difference.
After lunch, continue your float while your guide shares fascinating insights about Glacier National Park. Learn about things like the geological and cultural history of Glacier National Park, native flora and fauna, river ecology and the significance of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Conclude your float at take out point near the Blankenship Bridge and take a brief 10-minute shuttle back to our West Glacier campus.
