I had a really pleasant stay at Glacier Guides Lodge. The room was super clean and comfortable and the service was terrific. Transportation for hikes was provided, which was really nice. Would stay there again.

Shout out to our guides Jared, Jacob, and Sage!! They were funny, entertaining, energetic, knowledgeable, and kept the vibe high! My family came with a huge party of about 30 people which included adults and children. The Lee and Yang family had a great time and highly recommend this rafting company!

  • Group Trip Testimonial

Our Tuesday half-day guided group hike on the Highline Trail at Logan’s Pass was exciting and literally breathtaking. Jen and Ryan were our guides and were excellent. Billed as a “moderate” hike, the 7-mile round trip hike had some steep inclines, but Jen set a steady pace and seemed to know exactly when the group needed a breather. Ryan gave her credit as the creative chef for the excellent lunch Glacier Guides provided. Be sure to follow the company’s recommendation to dress in layers. Our morning started out with rain and a chill in the air, but the skies eventually turned blue and warm. Bring your camera to capture the natural beauty of the area, including the wildlife. At one point, we were even sharing the trail with a bighorn sheep! We will definitely use Glacier Guides again on our next trip to Montana and will likely book a different day of the week to experience a different trail. Enjoy!

  • Fishing Testimonial

We booked half day fly fishing afternoon trip on float boat. My husband fly fishes several times a year. I did not fly fish at all until we booked this trip. We were blessed to have our fly fishing guide be Jamie Burkholder. He was FANTASTIC!!!! I caught fish after he very calmly taught me his simple techniques for fly fishing. I would recommend him every time if your looking for a smart and nice guide that definitely knows what he’s doing.

Howdy, Glacier Guides & Montana Raft here 👋 Jus Howdy, Glacier Guides & Montana Raft here 👋 Just want to shed a bit of positive light and update you on a few key things. This one is long winded, so bear with us!

🌊Water level is lower than it typically is at this time of year, but we're definitely out there rafting and getting splashed! Overall, it's still a great trip on the boundary waters of Glacier. Protip: For a bit more spice and splash, inflatable kayaks are really fun at this water level! 💦

➡Next, there is a wildland fire burning 6 miles southeast of Hungry Horse, Montana. You may notice smoky mornings, but remember these smoke filled skies are temporary and tend to fade as the day progresses.
Safety is and always will be our number one priority. We are here to assure you, the location of Glacier Guides & Montana Raft, the river stretches we float on The Middle Fork of The Flathead River AND Glacier National Park are currently 100% safe and are not affected by The Ridge Fire. We are still out there, rafting, hiking, fishing and biking, ready for you to join us on an epic adventure.

Let's avoid starting any human caused fires by following the guidelines for Stage 2 fire restrictions and by ALWAYS recreating responsibly.

See you out there!
