“Katie was perfect for our group! My parents were quite nervous and she was very nurturing which eased their fears. i think they also appreciated the safety education and the description of what was coming up on our trip down. Thanks for the fun experience!”

“Greetings! Just wanted to comment on a GREAT rafting experience we had with your company this week. From the first call I made to you until we finished back at your office, I want to say EVERYONE there was just GREAT! Very Friendly, efficient, and confident that a land-lover from ND could make the trip! I expecially want to thank DEAN for his patient instruction, his wealth of information about the river and the park, and his FUN attitude! What a nice guy! Thanks again for a great time and I will most certainly recommend your company to anyone that might be going to Glacier!”
Barb and Tom P., Half Day Whitewater
“Made me want to choose Glacier Guides because staff was generous with their time. What to wear? What to bring? What to expect? All of these were answered fully and (we discoverd) honestly. Even after all the changes I made, I still felt wanted.
I know it was not in your control, but weather was perfect. Our guide, Amy, was friendly yet professional – we felt at ease and safe in her hands. Glacier Guides are happy, friendly people who love what they do always make a great experience for customers…move to Chicago, so that we can enjoy your service more often!!”
Eileen G., Half Day Whitewater

“If there was ever a review that deserved more than five stars, this would be it. This was my family’s first time visiting Glacier, and Glacier Guides made the trip absolutely magical. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, from the planning stage – accommodating our fitness level and our request not to hike in any steep areas or near cliffs – to our guide, who was the absolute best. He was extremely prepared and experienced, knowledgeable not only on the area of the park we visited, but the entire region in general, and very patient with the different levels of hikers in our group. He had a great attitude and sense of humor, which is important when you’re spending three days together! We left Glacier feeling refreshed and accomplished, and I cannot recommend Glacier Guides enough!”

Tina R., 3 Day Backpacking Trip

“I have been using their backcountry guide service for years, love each guide I have had. Have hiked over 100 days with Glacier Guides! All the guides are super high excitement for Glacier, outdoors, and the company they represent. Each trip I take they give me a unique experience every time. Can’t wait for my 2017 hike!”

“This was our first time to Montana and we weren’t sure we could do the hikes without a guide. Due to the fires part of Glacier was closed. We decided to use Glacier Guides to help us hike to Virginia Falls and St. Mary’s Falls. It was at the end of the season and it was not as busy. We had a beautiful clear day and the smoke had cleared up. Tom was our guide and he was spectacular. So patient, informative, funny and had great knowledge and stories to tell! We had another couple from London and they were a joy to meet and converse with. The hike was easy/moderate for us and Tom was able to answer all of our questions about the plants around us which being at the end of the season were not in bloom. They packed a full delicious lunch and we sat and ate at the St. Mary’s Falls. There were also bathrooms for convenience there. Lots of photo opportunities and we were able to stop whenever we wanted. It was an enjoyable experience. Even though we now know we could have taken the hike ourselves Tom made it more pleasurable. We would not hesitate to go through Glacier Guides for another trip/visit in the future!”

RJFS16, Wednesday Hike to Virginia Falls

“We took a day hike to Scenic Point, arrived at the Glacier Guides headquarters around 8 a.m. and returned there around 5:30 p.m. We were a little unsure about a guided group hike, since this is nothing we have done before. By the end, my dad and I agreed that going with Glacier Guides was one of the best decisions of the trip. Amber was our guide, she was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We felt safe throughout the entire duration of the hike. The views at the top were spectacular, and our guide was more than willing to help take pictures. Overall a wonderful, quality experience. We will be recommending the Glacier Guides to our friends and family.”

Libby M., Saturday Hike to Scenic Point

“My husband and I did a three day backpacking trip with Sarah through Glacier National Park for part of our honeymoon and it was such a great experience! We have both backpacked before but decide to use Glacier Guides because we wanted to be with a larger group through bear country. Sarah (our guide) was fantastic! She was great at helping everyone in the group and was so kind and knowledgeable about the park. The route we went on was spectacular and we couldn’t have asked for a better hike. Yes, it was hard but we were very well taken care of and didn’t have to worry about a thing! Glacier Guides prepared us very well for what to bring and what to expect and we would definitely use them again for a group hike with friends. If you are looking for a way to experience Glacier but not have to worry about details, use Glacier Guides and Montana Raft. The prices are very fair for what you get and the experience will be an unforgettable one! Thank you guys (especially Sarah) for making our honeymoon one to remember!”

meprice33, 3 Day Backpacking Trip

“Absolutely amazing experience. The trip far exceeded my expectations. The tip is designed around the abilities of the group and the food prepared by the guide is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about our guide Andrea. She worked from the moment she woke up until the moment we wall went to sleep to ensure our trip was enjoyable. She was so knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife and went out of her way to teach us and backpacking. We moved campsites daily and even experienced a thunderstorm in our tents one night. Our group wanted to do it all so Andrea also took us on several additional day hikes after setting up camp. I would recommend being very honest on the profile you submit to Glacier Guides to ensure you get in a group that matches your expectations. Our trip was challenging as that’s what we wanted and our guide was so much fun.”
