Giving Thanks for Glacier National Park

Happy Thanksgiving! What are you giving thanks for today? Glacier Guides and Montana Raft is most thankful for Glacier National Park!

Thankful for Glacier National Park

We’re thankful for the opportunity to be the backpacking concessionnaire in the park for 35 years. Therefore, we get to get to hike in the park all summer long!

We’re thankful for our guides and our staff, some of whom have been working with us since the 1980s! We’re especially thankful for Judith, our Office Manager Extraordinaire. Judith’s list of duties is beyond not only the scope of this post, but probably beyond what we even realize that she does. Probably even beyond what SHE realizes she does.

We’re thankful for the snow that falls in the winter. Therefore, we have water for the summer wildflowers we delight in and the rivers we raft on.

We’re thankful for Glacier National Park as our backyard. Because of that happy geography, we get to visit its critters often. Check out these beautiful Bighorn Sheep!

We’re thankful for clean water, whitewater rafting, scenic floating, and especially for the Wild and Scenic Flathead River.
