Perfect base from which to explore Glacier National Park. We only had 4 in our group, but the house had plenty of room for more. We picked up groceries on the way from the airport so we could cook breakfast and dinners at the house and spend all day at the Park. Sunflower Cafe across the highway has great options to pack in for trail lunches. We loved all the windows and felt like we were already in the park while in the house. Great to have the laundry there, too to clean up before heading over to the east side of the park for the rest of our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone. visiting Glacier.

Our group of six enjoyed two day hikes with Glacier Guides. The guides were great and took good care of our safety and entertained us with stories and descriptions of the area.

We did the 3 day backpacking trip with Tom a few weeks ago. It was the BEST experience we could have asked for! We will book again if we get the chance. Unforgettable views and experience. Not to mention the food Tom made with just one little burner was perfect.

Great place! Amazing planning, preparation and logistics management. I had a great time on a half day fly fishing trip on the Northfork and learned some great techniques. I also went on a guided 3 day backpacking trip. Besides the spectacular views, our meals were healthy and tasty. Both guides were very knowledgeable, passionate and experienced. The guides as well as the service staff are great people. Everyone is upbeat, passionate about outdoor recreation, professional, safe and fun. It’s great being surrounded by like minded people. I will most definitely return to make some more memories.

Holy cow this place is awesome! Right from the start, everyone was so nice and friendly and fun! Our family headed down the river for the scenic float with our three littles (9, 7 & 3) and my FIL and MIL (who cannot swim and is terrified of water!). We had the best time and our guide Nicolette was super knowledgeable about the river and the area. After the float we stayed for dinner and, let me just tell you, it blew my expectations out of the water! I was expecting to get our main course with a couple sides but they had that PLUS crazy yummy appetizers AND dessert too! I cannot recommend Montana Raft enough! If you have time, do the dinner option. You will not be disappointed!!

25th Anniversary of Rafting for Refuse! This group 25th Anniversary of Rafting for Refuse! This group of people are such troopers. After learning that we indeed couldn't Raft because of water levels, they still went out there, picked up trash at put-ins and take-outs along the Wild and Scenic Middle Fork, and enjoyed some MUCH needed sunshine. Some of the goodies we found, you ask? A graduation ring, part of the front of a car and an impressive amount of fencing. Thanks again to all those that came out for a gorgeous day and special shout out to @flatheadriversalliance and @nationalparkservice for joining. We are all looking forward to getting on some rafts next year for R4R's 26th year!
Our friends in SW Montana just experienced floodin Our friends in SW Montana just experienced flooding of epic proportions and are now faced with a clean up and repair of the same magnitude. While it may seem like the worst is over, there are homes and local businesses that were flooded and destroyed, roads and bridges that need to be rebuilt and people who lost everything. If you're asking yourself "how can I help," the link in our bio has several opportunities to lend a hand. GoFundMe fundraisers for local families, Carbon County Disaster Relief Fund, Local Humane Societies and so much more. Many hands make for lighter work, and we are all here to help our fellow Montanans get back on their feet.

THIS UPDATE DOES NOT APPLY TO TRIPS FOR THE ENTIRE THIS UPDATE DOES NOT APPLY TO TRIPS FOR THE ENTIRE SUMMER, IT IS JUST UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE WITH CURRENT FORECAST AND RIVER LEVELS

River levels are high and we have some updates regarding our trips. The Middle Fork of the Flathead River is at 8.5 feet and 20,100 CFS. We are still running whitewater trips on The Middle Fork but only half day, no full day trips until further notice, our stretch has moved north to Paola--> Cascadilla until further notice, we have changed the minimum age requirement to 16 until further notice and we are not doing any Scenic Float trips until further notice. If you plan to go out there, choose to float with a guide who knows the river inside and out -- safety is always our number one priority. Please, please, please be safe out there and wear your PFDs.
@kjellilama Spotted our bus among beautiful sprout @kjellilama Spotted our bus among beautiful sprouting beargrass in @glaciernps this morning and took this amazing photo.

A common myth says that beargrass only sprouts every 7 years, but that isn't the case. Each rosette may only bloom once, but abundant plant blooming results from perfect conditions -- ideal amounts of spring rainfall and moisture present in the soil. While we all may be ready for that uninterrupted summer sunshine, Glacier National Park is exploding with our fuzzy topped friends and there is so much beauty within these pockets of precipitation. Adventure is still out there no matter the weather, and we are ready to explore. Come join us--it's always a good time!
