GOOD TO KNOW

We are a small business with a limited season for operating — cancellations on your part are very hard on us! As a result, we must adhere to our policies even in cases of last minute trip cancellations on your part due to personal injury, sickness, or a personal emergency. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances.

Cancellation – Foul Weather: Trips depart rain or shine! Cancellations on our part due to foul weather are very, very rare. We do not guarantee good weather. We do not issue refunds due to weather. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances.

Cancellation – Wildfires and Smoke: We cannot guarantee clear skies during the summer, and we recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances. It is very rare for us to cancel a trip or close our lodging due to wildfires or smoke, but in such an instance, we will reschedule your reservation for a later date.

Cancellation – Natural Disasters, Terrorism, Acts of God, and Other Unpleasantries: We must adhere to our policies even in cases of last minute trip cancellations. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances.

Transfers: In most cases you may transfer from one trip to another prior to 60 days before trip departure without penalty (as long as there is room to do so), after which time our cancellation policy applies.
