On our guided hikes in Glacier National Park, we see love seeing the park come to life with Spring, the season of transformation. Bull elk and buck deer shed their antlers in late winter and begin growing new ones, covered in a soft, fuzzy layer of velvet. It’s nature’s way of hitting reset and gearing up for the new season of action.

We hope everyone had a fabulous weekend celebrating and enjoying the weather + driving availability all the way to Avalanche Creek!!

The biker hiker West avalanche closure point remains at Road Camp, ~ 10 miles past the vehicle closure at Avalanche. The East avalanche closure point is just below Siyeh Bend. The Cut Bank road, Bowman Lake road, North Lake McDonald road, Two Medicine road, and Goat Lick area are all open for the season! The Kintla Road is now open to the Doverspike Gate at the North end of Big Prairie.

This week we’re continuing to roll and ramp up with bike shuttles, guided bike tours, and bike rentals. We also offer self-guided bike tour pamphlets, so you can enjoy the 10 gorgeous miles of no-vehicle access at your own preferred pace - while still learning on the go. See you out there on the roads, trails, & rivers! 🌞
