Happy National Park Week in Glacier National Park!

National Park Week is the perfect excuse to celebrate one of the most incredible places in our backyard, Glacier National Park! From towering peaks and alpine lakes to wildlife, wild rivers, and miles of trails, there’s no shortage of ways to get outside and experience Glacier.

With park fees waived on Tuesday, take full advantage of the opportunity to explore, learn, and make memories in this spectacular landscape. Here are 10 ways to celebrate National Park Week in Glacier:

1. Get out on the trail and Leave No Trace!

Lace up your hiking boots and explore Glacier’s incredible trail system. Whether you’re taking a leisurely stroll or tackling a challenging hike, remember to Leave No Trace and help keep Glacier beautiful for generations to come.

2. Give wildlife plenty of space

Glacier is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, and seeing animals in their natural habitat is one of the most memorable parts of visiting the park. Keep a respectful and safe distance, never approach or feed wildlife, and don’t forget your camera!
