Fly Fishing Glacier National Park | Full Day

Full Day fly fishingTrip Details

Difficulty: Easy

This Full Day Glacier National Park fly fishing trip can be scheduled for the dates of 07/01/2018 through 09/10/2018 depending on guide availability.

Trip Duration: 1 day

Price: $515 (for 1 to 2 people)
Other Price: Does not include 7% User Fee or gratuity for guide. Lunch is included.

Description: We run our trips on either the Middle Fork or North Fork of the Flathead River, both of which border Glacier National Park. These waters support native West Slope Cutthroat along with Rainbow and some Brook trout. You’ll be fishing from a dory which can accommodate 2 people. Our guides are very knowledgeable, and if you don’t have much experience they will be happy to teach you some handy techniques. The full day trips last all day and include a nice lunch on the river. Our rivers become fishable starting in July.

All trips require the purchase of a Montana fishing license prior to your arrival at our office. We recommend printing one online — you can click HERE to access the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks website. Most fly shops and sporting goods stores in Montana sell them as well.

Meeting Notes: We have 8:30 AM departures available July and August. In early September due to cooler temperatures in the morning our departures are at 10:30 AM. We are located 1.5 miles west of West Glacier, on Highway 2. Look for our sign (Montana Raft/Glacier Guides Inc.) on the north side of the highway between mile marker 151 and 152.  Our property is just off the highway tucked in the trees.  When you see our sign turn to the north and you will see us shortly thereafter.
