Things in Glacier National Park change constantly. It is always a good idea to check conditions before you go out. There can be rapid weather changes, trail closures, or the river levels can rise/fall. The web cams are a great way to see the current conditions in the different parts of the park. Look at the weather forecast to be prepared for what mother nature will bring us. The trails pages are great for knowing whether a trail is opened or closed (and what current conditions might be).
It is always good to be prepared. No matter what the weather is like when you leave, you should bring rain gear, fleece, sun protection, and water/food. Letting someone know where you are going is also recommended.
